My friends and I are leaving the mosque. We just finished our afternoon prayer time and we’ll walk across the street back to our apartments for afternoon rest. Most of us have worshipped together at this mosque our entire lives. I remember when this mosque was surrounded by fields and now it sits in the center of a large city.
At my age, my daily life revolves around going to the mosque for prayer times. I try to go five times a day when I am healthy, hoping this will outweigh any bad things I have done. I spend most of my time with family or talking and playing games with these other men. Our wives are friends but they stay at home cooking or caring for grandchildren. They are not allowed at this mosque. All of the families connected to the mosque are like one big family. Our favorite holiday is Ramadan, where we will break fast every evening together and share our huge meals.

- Pray that communities of Hui will hear the Gospel and see the power of the Gospel.
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to move mightily among communities of Hui turning multiple families to Jesus and establishing churches.
